Expose Scam 2025 : Cruise Ship Job Scam

Scammers are aggressively targeting job seekers in the cruise ship and maritime industry with a new wave of fake recruitment schemes. Operating under names like “Al-Asean”, these fraudsters are exploiting the dreams of hardworking individuals by creating entirely fake companies with one goal: to steal your money.

How the Scam Works:

  • These fraudsters use convincing tactics to appear legitimate. Here’s what they typically do:

Register multiple fake companies with professional-looking websites and logos

Send fake offer letters claiming to provide cruise ship jobs on international vessels

Demand multiple types of fraudulent fees, such as:

                  FAKE  Marine Membership Fees

                  FAKE  Registration Charges

                  FAKE  Medical Examination Fees

FAKE  Visa Processing or Clearance Charges

                  NO Original GST  Number

Come Together, Fight Fraud – Send Al-Asean to Jail

They take your money, but you never get the job.
There is no real recruitment, no cruise ship contract, and no visa issued.
Their goal is not to provide employment, but to exploit job seekers for financial gain.

Al-Asean Jobs presents itself as a global recruitment agency offering attractive jobs in the shipping, cruise, and oil & gas sectors. The website claims to provide legitimate job placement services for cruise ships and cargo vessels across Europe, the Gulf, and Southeast Asia.

However, this company is a scam, designed solely to extract money from job seekers. It has no legal registration, no government approval, and no affiliation with any verified maritime or cruise ship companies.
